ROG – Rage of Gods is one of the newest additions to the plethora of MMORPGs developed and published by Efun Company. It follows a story of the last warrior to guard the so-called Holy Realm. It all started when the fallen angels rebelled against the gods and decided to spread terror across the land and the Holy Realm and put everything in such great chaos. Being the last man who can fuse “eudemon” to wield the wrath and power of the gods, you must fight all the evil forces and bring the Holy Realm back to its harmony. The Gameplay

ROG – Rage of Gods is not really different from your typical MMORPG. It follows the same gameplay and the same simple mechanics. Like the most common MMORPGs today, ROG – Rage of Gods comes with automated features. There are auto quest and auto-combat in this game so everything can be done in just a few taps. Before your actual adventure begins, the game will ask you first to select your preferred character. ROG – Rage of Gods comes with a very minimal option compared to others. There are only two classes to choose from and each will vary in terms of their given skills and basic stat attributes.

Players can only select between a Warrior and an Assassin. Warrior is characterized as a robust tank with extremely high defense and great counterattack abilities. They are expert in melee combats. Assassin, on the other hand, comes with high Crit Rate and awesome damage-dealing abilities. After selecting your character, you will be prompted immediately to the virtual world. You can freely navigate around the 3D map using the virtual joypad on the lower left while most field interactions are done using the tap-based buttons on the opposite corner.

Auto Quest, Navigation and Combat

Interestingly, unlike most MMORPGs, ROG – Rage of Gods doesn’t come up with any navigational system or navigation map to help the adventurers on their quest. Although you can freely navigate the map, looking for the quest points can be very tricky. This is where the Auto-quest and auto navigation come in handy. Simply tap the quest on the quest panel located on the far left side of the game screen. Upon doing so, your character will automatically navigate the map to reach the next destination. Engaging in combat works the same way. You can go on manual mode and use the skills you prefer during battle or go on Auto Combat and witness how your character defeats all the enemies.

Interestingly, the game also comes with a Mount System which allows you to ride on horses and other epic creatures. You also have the ability to upgrade them and to make them more efficient. Although Mounts are not extremely useful in most battles, they make the navigation easier and absolutely faster. The game also features Warwings which you can unlock after reaching a certain level. Of course, one of the most engaging highlights of ROG – Rage of Gods is your ability to summon the so-called “eudemon”. These are powerful creatures that you must defeat first before successfully taming them and summoning them during your battle.

Story-Based Quests and Multiplayer Elements

Like most MMORPGs, this game will not be completed without the Quest system. Accepting and completing missions is the only way to progress in this game. The game offers different kinds of quests. There are the Main Quests which are part of the main storyline and should be taken sequentially. You can also accept EXP Quests . These are the quests that can be taken repeatedly for experience-gaining purposes. Most of the EXP Quest will ask you to wander around the plains and kill various mobs.

Wanted Quest, on the other hand, will ask you to hunt and defeat various bosses from different plains and dungeons. Upgrading your character’s skills and gear plays a crucial part in this game. You need to upgrade the skills to make your damages more effective and also to maximize your chances of surviving especially when dealing with boss battles. The same thing goes when upgrading your Eudemon and mounts. The Multiplayer element of ROG – Rage of Gods can be found through the interactive guild and party systems. There is also PvP challenges through Arena and Guild Wars.

ROG – Rage of Gods is truly a great MMORPG that will surely meet all the gamer’s expectations. Appearance-wise, the game is an absolute visual delight. It treats you with remarkable visuals and takes you to an immersive 3D virtual world. The game also offers a lot of exciting features to explore. There is even a Destiny system that allows you to be married to other players. The game, however, focused much on its automated features which makes it lose the challenge and thrills but if you are into fast-paced gaming, this MMORPG suits well for you.
