A new Season update has just arrived and there were vast different changes that are absolutely worth noting. Over the years, Fortnite has been giving us some interesting side stories and some of which remained mystery. These are stories that are not actually part of the main plot but still worth exploring. If you explore the map, chances are, you’ll spot some weird sightings. Today, we are listing down some of the notable Fortnite mysteries that are still unresolved. Some of which might remain a mystery and may never be unfolded but some might give us some clear conclusion.
The Tales of Gnomes and Teddy Bears
One of the interesting side stories for this new chapter is the tale of gnomes and teddy bears. Early in Season 2, we witnessed an epic rivalry between two parties. The gnomes and the teddy wears went on a series of war which eventually concluded on a peaceful settlement. This new season, the gnomes and the teddy bears managed to survive the catastrophic flood. They were last spotted on a floating platform near the Authority. However, they completely vanished on the most recent update. Their most recent whereabouts remains a mystery. We might spot them soon somewhere else.
The Mysterious Boulders
If you have been playing Fortnite Battle Royale for quite some time now, you might notice some weird boulders that are randomly scattered on the map. What makes them even more fascinating are the symbols that are mysteriously carved on each stone. Unlike the tales of Gnomes and Teddy Bears that came with a secret quest, these boulders do not have any supporting stories. However, their existence in Fortnite map remains to be very intriguing. They might have a huge role to come and the symbols might be telling us something but for now, they remained to be one of the unsolved Fortnite mysteries that deserves to be unfolded.
The Truck Monster
This truck monster has been around since the first chapter of Fortnite Battle Royale. The position and its location are drastically changing in almost every update. In Chapter 2 Season 2, the truck can be spotted underwater near the Steamy Stacks. This new season, it seems like the Truck monster managed to survive the catastrophe and can still be seen underwater. However, this time the truck is now lying down the ground. Fortnite introduced us to many other similar structures including the mysterious Pipeman, the Hayman statue in Frenzy Farm, and now, there’s also a Urinal Man that you can also spot underwater. The purpose of their existence is still a mystery.
The Hidden Bunkers
Another interesting mystery in Fortnite is the hidden bunkers. You can spot these bunkers in the random location of the map. Interestingly, they are being tagged as landmarks but they do not really have any function or at least these early seasons. They are unaccessible bunkers that are just hidden for no reason. Fortnite is probably planning to take us to some mysterious locations that you can only enter through these bunkers. For now, they are just nothing but useless structures but who knows? Fortnite is after all fond of many surprises.
Robotic Chests
One of the mysterious items in Season 3 is the robotic chests. They are loot chests that come with robotic arms and legs. If you have experienced playing Fortnite Save The World, then you should be familiar with the Mimic Chests. These are monsters that disguise themselves as Treasure chests. One of the newest and probably most intriguing Fortnite Easter eggs for this season is the mysterious robotic chests that can be found in the random location of the map. Unlike Save the World Mimic Chests, these are not monsters and more like robotic statues similar to Kit’s henchmen. We’re pretty sure that these mysterious chests are introduced this season for nothing.
The Marauders
One of the crazy things about Chapter 2 Season 3 are the Marauders. These are a group of henchmen who will spawn from the meteors that break down from the Battle Royale sky. They randomly appear on the map but they always come in a group of 5. Each of them wields a different weapon and they also have the ability to build. Some might say that these marauders are quite overpowered and they are extremely hard to beat down especially if you are alone. It is not exactly clear where these groups came from and what exactly is their purpose for this season. Are they part of the major storyline? That is something we need to find out!
The Little Blobs
Early in Season 2, you can spot these cute little blobs around the island especially in areas like Shark, Crash Site, and other remote islets. Interestingly, it seems like their stories are getting bigger for this season. The recent update of Fortnite Season 3 comes with a quest where you need to visit an island. Here, you can spot these tiny creatures building their small empire and it’s probably getting bigger. The first quest will ask you to gather woods and offer them to the blobs. This will drastically upgrade their buildings. It seems like we will be seeing more of these adorable creatures this season. Their existence, however, is still a mystery. Are they friendly or are they foes?
The Seven
The Seven are an extraterrestrial organization in the storyline of Fortnite: Battle Royale. The Seven presumably consist of seven members, three known and four unknown. The Seven first appeared from Season 4 to Season X and are yet to return in Chapter 2. Season 2, however, managed to tease them through the markings on the tree (as seen on the trailer). It is not specified how exactly the Seven came to be and what their true intentions were. However, their goal was implied to be to destroy the Zero Point, which destroyed our own universe in exchange for fixing Time and Reality. Will Chapter 2 introduce us to the other four unknown members of this mysterious group? Knowing that we have the Marauders that came from the sky, they might be associated with this organization.
