With so many MMORPGs on the mobile market today, it is quite a challenge to pick one that will suit your taste. The Gameplay

If you have played any MMORPG for mobile devices, then you should know how exactly this game works. Legacy of Destiny managed to capture all the common and exciting elements from a standard MMORPG that we used to enjoy. It’s almost a cliche in most RPG where you play the role of a chosen hero destined to save the world from evil forces. Trying to bring the land back to its former glory is definitely not a new and original approach but still surprisingly effective. This is what you are about to expect from Legacy of Destiny. Select your preferred character, go on a mission, accept quests, defeat monsters and evolve to a powerful hero. Progression is what makes the game engaging.

The mechanics for Legacy of Destiny are generally simple and easily manageable. You start the game by selecting your preferred character. Interestingly, the game comes with three major classes to choose from; Spellsword, Hunter, and Enchanter. They are gender locked which quite limits the option but each of them comes with their own unique skills and attributes. Each character comes with six basic stat attributes including HP, ATK, DEF, CRT, HIT, and RES. After selecting the character, the game takes you right away to the battlefield to fulfill your first quest. No cinematic introduction and just straight right to the action.

Complete Multiple Quests and Explore Dungeons

Like any other MMORPG, Legacy of Destiny will heavily rely on quests in order to progress. In the entire course of this game, the player will be asked to accept a series of quests to earn experiences and rewards. Once you have earned enough experience, your character will gain a new level which will drastically increase its attributes and allow you to earn additional skill points. The game follows basic controls. You can navigate around the area by moving the virtual joypad and interact with your surroundings using the tap-based buttons. However, if you are not in the mood of manual exploration, you can always toggle the Autoplay mode.

Once activated, the character will automatically move toward the next quest location with minimal player interaction. All you need to do is to tap the quest box and let the character do the job. Speaking of quests, the game offers different types of quests. There are Main quests that are mandatory and should be taken sequentially and there are Side Quests that are optional and sometimes repeatable. You will also encounter Timed Quest that requires you to finish certain missions within the given time frame and earn special rewards in return. Of course, knowing that Legacy of Destiny is a full pledge MMORPG, it is grave crime not to include dungeon exploration. Your character can explore various dungeons that allow you to loot rare items and obtain special mounts and pets.

Mounts, Pets, and PvP Battles

Ever imagine riding a flying creature that can instantly take you from one place to another? Well, this game will give you the opportunity to tame creatures and use them as your means of transportation. The game offers a wide variety of mounts and most of them are winged creatures. You will also encounter Warpets that will serve as your trusty companions during battles. Od course, Legacy of Destiny will not be considered as MMORPG without the multiplayer elements. Much like any other game that falls into the same category, Legacy of Destiny comes with many PvP battles including Arena and Boss battles.

It is also interesting to note that PvP is allowed on all maps of the game. There is an Unlimited PK (Player Kill) in the grand open map. The game features a Cross-server PK system which allows you to chase for the Top position with players from different servers. Other noteworthy features include a Marriage and romance system which is quite rare for an MMORPG. By the time you have reached Level 134, you can unlock wedding ring items and wedding titles. You can also hold a romantic ceremony as well.

The Verdict

Legacy of Destiny is a decent MMORPG that offers an overwhelming number of engaging RPG elements that gamers will enjoy. It features the same classic RPG formula but executed it wonderfully. Appearance-wise, the game will treat you with superb graphics and visuall striking details and impressive character designs. It is indeed a visual delight! It comes with well-polished gameplay but with a shallow storyline. Overall, it is still a great MMORPG that is wonderfully optimized for mobile devices.
