From the creators behind some of the most engaging casual mobiles games like Hotel Blast and Hidden Hotel: Miami Mystery comes another colorful and addictive casual game. WhaleApp recently launched Hidden Resort: Adventure Bay as one of its newest offerings. The game is currently on its Early Access phase so there might be more to expect soon. Interestingly,  Hidden Resort: Adventure Bay is not really different from most of the casual games published by Whaleapp. It follows the same formula and in fact, the game is very much the same as Whaleapp’s Resort Hotel: Bay Story. They both follow the same plot but differs from the kind of puzzles you need to play. Resort Hotel features a colorful match 3 puzzles while Hidden Resort comes with a hidden-object puzzle. The Gameplay

Ever imagine running a Hotel Resort? Well, if that is your dream job, you might want to explore Hidden Resort: Adventure Bay. The game follows the story of Alice and her mission to restore her Uncle’s rundown resort back to its former glory. Alice is taking Hotel Management at a new university and she had to stay at her Uncle’s resort while she keeps herself busy with her studies. It took Alice 20 years to finally meet her grumpy Uncle again and now she had to convince him to bring the resort back to its former beauty. The mechanics for this game are generally simple and easily manageable. Your task is to restore the hotel one step after another.

To do so, you need to collect Keys that you can only earn by completing puzzles. You will earn one key per puzzle. Hidden Resort will take you to two different phases; the building phase and the puzzle phase. The building phase is where you renovate the hotel from one area to another while the Puzzle phase is where you solve the hidden-object puzzle. Take note that playing each puzzle will consume 10 Energy. If the player runs out of energy, he either has to wait until the energy bar is refilled or you can buy bundles from the in-game shop.

Nostalgic Hidden Object Puzzle

Just like the classic hidden-object puzzle, the game takes you to different locations or scenarios. You will be prompted into a messy and disorganized and merely chaotic room filled with random objects. Located on the lowermost portion of the game screen are the item lists. It will list down all the items that you need to find from the picture. Simply tap the objects on the screen until you have found everything. Be mindful that you only have limited time to complete each level. If you run out of time, the game will come to a quick end and you have no other option but to start the same level back from the very beginning. You will also end up wasting 10 Energy for each failed attempt.

Luckily, you can have power-ups to help you locate the hidden object much easier. These boosters allow you to speed up the in-game progress. Currently, there are four types of boosters in the Hidden Resort. The flashlight booster will help you locate the item by highlighting it while Radar will highlight all the items in the search scene for a few seconds. The items will be highlighted as soon as the radar rays touch them and you must quick enough to tap them or to remember their respective locations. Magnet booster will instantly remove 3 items in the search scene while the Alarm clock will give you an additional 45 seconds to complete the puzzle.

From time to time, you will also encounter special Hidden object modes. There are Mirror mode, silhouette mode, object mode, hard, reverse, word search mode, and many others. Each is being played differently.

Building Your Dream Hotel

One of the most interesting parts of Hidden Resort: Adventure Bay is the compelling story. Players can dive into a cute story following Alice’s journey. It is not going to be an easy adventure for Alice, especially when dealing with his grumpy Uncle Craig. However, with the support of her Aunt and her new-found friend Mike, they will convince her uncle to bring the old hotel back to its former glory. Eventually, you will encounter more people who will help you along the way. What you will surely appreciate when playing Hidden Resort is the progress.

You will witness how the old Hidden Resort transforms into something grand. This gives you the opportunity to build your dream hotel. Aside from renovating the area, the game also allows you to pick designs based on your very own preferences. To top it all, the hotel resort will eventually expand and will cater to a wide range of other services.

Multiplayer Functions

Interestingly, Hidden Resort also features some exciting multiplayer elements. The game comes with the Clubs system. A Club is a united community of players that you can freely be part of. Club members can access their own chat system, exchange energy, and even participate in some limited edition competitions. The game comes with many Competitions and League campaigns. There are Bonus time events, Royal rush, Top Score event, and Top Team Tournament  (Club Tournament).

Club Tournament is a competition between clubs for prizes. The main goal of the competition is to collect items in the search scenes. All players who are members of a club that won a prize will receive 1/50 of the total reward.
