Devil Hunter: Eternal War takes you to an epic adventure that will surely put your skills on a great test. The game follows the journey of heroic angels and their goal to destroy the evil forces to restore their world back to its former glory and to gain immortality. Interestingly, this game managed to capture all the classic MMORPG formula while successfully incorporating unique elements. It comes with a massive quest system, upgradable pets and mounts and an overwhelming number of cosmetic items to unlock. To top it all, this game offers various multiplayer campaigns to explore. Generally, your goal is to take control of your hero and engage yourself in a series of epic adventures. The Gameplay

The mechanics for this game are generally simple and easily manageable. If you have experienced playing any of the mobile MMORPG, you should know how exactly Devil Hunter: Eternal War works. Like most modern MMORPGs that are optimized for mobile, the game comes with automated features. There is an Auto-quest and Auto-combat system that both allows you to progress faster. As soon as the game starts, you will be asked first to select your preferred character. The game comes with six gender-locked classes to choose from. These include Martial Saint, Taoist, Explicator, Phantom, Arcane Luminary, and Winged Illusionist.

Each class will vary in terms of their given attributes (ATK, Crit, DEF, HP, and Dodge) and default Talent Skills. Once done, you will be prompted to the virtual world where your journey will start to take place. You can navigate the 3D world map using the virtual joypad and interact with your surroundings using the designated action buttons.  Since the game comes with the Auto-quest feature, you can simply tap the quest log and let your character move automatically towards the next destination. Interestingly, the game comes with many other features such as pet and mount system, wings, guild system, and many more which can be unlocked upon reaching certain levels.  Since the game is mostly automated, grinding is no longer necessary (this could be a downside to those who crave for old school RPG grinding system).

Devil Hunter: Eternal War is seemingly an MMORPG that is slightly made to perfection. It captures every exciting RPG element that makes this game absolutely worth exploring. Although most parts of the game are automated, you are always free to switch the gameplay back to manual (there is an option to switch Temporary Manual or Autoplay during combat). Manual pathfinding, however, is quite a challenge for this game so activating the auto-quest is still ideal to progress quickly. Speaking of progress, this game will unlock an overwhelming number of features after you have reached certain levels.

Eventually, you will be able to get companions through the game’s pet system. The game also has a mounting system that you can upgrade by collecting the right amount of resources. There are also wings and cloaks to unlock to make your character look more impressive. There is an overwhelming number of pets and mounts to unlock in this game. These include flying dragons, rhinos, giant scorpions, pegasi, dinosaurs, and even high-tech motorcycles. Although you are free to do anything in this game, Devil Hunter: Eternal War will still mainly rely on its quest system. The main quests are generally part of the storyline while side quests can be taken optionally. Like most MMORPGs, the quests mostly revolve around hunting monsters, interacting from one NPC to another, collecting materials, exploring dungeons, and many more.

Multiplayer Functions and other Noteworthy Features

Of course, Devil Hunter: Eternal War will not be considered as MMORPG without its multiplayer function. Like most MMORPGs, the multiplayer element of Devil Hunter: Eternal War can be found through its Guild System. The game features a cross-server PvP system that allows you to compete against opposing guilds on the cross-server battlefields. Winning Guild wars allows you to obtain limited-resource tiles and honor the guild you represent. Eventually, you will be able to access other multiplayer campaigns including the 1v1, 3v3, 1vN, and NvN battles. Players can also explore various dungeons to earn rare loots and items that you can use to improve your hero.

Another noteworthy feature of Devil Hunter: Eternal War is the marriage system. You can be engaged with another player that you mostly consider as your soulmate and become a powerful immortal couple. You can enjoy plenty of perks as a couple. The game comes with many other noteworthy features to explore. There’s a limited-time Treasure Hunt event, daily log-in reward system, relics, artifacts, friend system, Server Launch events, and more. The game also has a ranking and title system. Each title can be acquired by completing several achievements within the game. If you are aiming for more rewards, you can also take advantage of many limited time events, achievements, repeatable daily quests, daily guild benefits, and more.

Devil Hunter: Eternal War is indeed an impressive MMORPG that you can confidently include on top of your mobile game list. It comes with well-polished gameplay with impressive longevity. Appearance-wise, Devil Hunter: Eternal War is an absolute visual delight. The game comes with impressive character designs and remarkable graphics that are accompanied by a piece of well-fitting music and audio effects. While most of the game features are somewhat formulaic, the game managed to incorporate some unique elements that make it distinctive above the rest.
