The concept of this game is not entirely new. You play the role of an epic hero, embark yourself on different missions, fight against an endless number of monsters, interact with other online players worldwide, and become the most powerful hero of them all. Despite all the common elements you can encounter in this game, Celestial Age: Origin still offers a vast of unique features that make the game worth a download. The Gameplay

As mentioned above, Celestial Age: Origin follows the same formula used by most MMORPGs. The game follows the story of a chosen hero. The demon has awakened and has invaded the earth. Luckily, the gods have chosen you as their hero and you must engage yourself on an epic mission to defeat all the evil forces and bring the world back to its harmony. Like most MMORPGs, the game starts with class selection. There are only three basic classes to choose from including the Warrior, the Mage, and an Assassin. Each class comes with its unique abilities, skills, and attributes. After selecting your character, you will be prompted to the so-called “Land of Adventure” where your journey will start to take place.

The game uses basic game controls with a fixed camera view. Basically, you can navigate around the 3D world map using the virtual joystick located on the bottom left corner of the screen. Located on the lower right corner are the tap-based buttons dedicated to attack and skills. Generally, the game’s interface is simple and easily manageable. Your character’s profile can be found on the upper left corner of the game screen and underneath that is your quest log. You will also encounter various buttons for different game functions. As you progress to higher levels, you will be able to unlock other functions and access them for various purposes.

Quest System and Angel Transformation

Like most MMORPGs, Celestial Age: Origin will also heavily rely on its quest system. It is the only way to progress in the game. Interestingly, Celestial Age: Origin comes with both Auto-Play and Manual Mode and you can switch from one mode to another at any given time. When the Auto-Play is activated, all you need to do is to tap the specific quest on your quest log and let the AI do the rest of the job. There’s an Auto-Pathfinding mode that allows your character to locate the next quest location without the player’s direct interaction. The same thing goes with combat. If you wish to switch to Manual and play the game the classic MMORPG way, you can just tap the Manual button above the skills.

When engaging in a manual battle, you have to tap the skills individually and it also gives you the opportunity to evade attacks especially when dealing with strong bosses with unique abilities. The player can also accept multiple quests. Aside from the main quests that are part of the main campaign, you will eventually encounter numerous Side Quests and EXP Quests that can be taken optionally.  They still grant you with great rewards so they are something you can’t simply ignore. Your ability to transform into an Angel Transformation or better known as Elysian is one of the most unique features of the game. You can unlock Angel’s Ability upon reaching Level 30. This will give you a special skill that can last for a limited period of time. Wings, on the other hand, can be unlocked at Level 40 while Gear enhancement can be accessed upon reaching your 44th level. There is also a Eudemon system similar to ROG – Rage of Gods game.

Massive Upgrades, Dungeon Raids, and PvP System

Another fascinating element in Celestial Age: Origin is the massive upgrade option. You can upgrade almost anything from gear to weapons to make your character more efficient in every battle. There is also a Treasure hunting campaign that allows you to hunt and collect for valuable items. Simply tap the Treasure icon and the Menu and hit the “Go to” button to automatically take you to the area. Of course, like most RPGs, dungeons are also present in this game and you can either explore these dungeons alone or better yet look for a companion. This is where the multiplayer element of Celestial Age: Origin comes in. You can invite real-time online players on a party and engage yourself in a cooperative battle against strong foes.

Aside from the PvE system, the game also has a Player vs Player campaign which can be accessed through Arena battles. Here, you will go up against another player in skill-based combat. Celestial Age: Origin has many other equally-engaging features that you can unlock upon reaching certain levels. Aside from transforming yourself to an Elysian (Level 30) and Eudemon (Level 57), you can eventually transform yourself to Fighter God at Level 164. The marriage system can also be unlocked at level 210. The Level Progression in this game is notably quicker than other RPGs so you can surely achieve all these exciting functions in no time.

Celestial Age: Origin may not offer an original concept and we cannot deny the fact that this kind of MMORPG formula is still effective and fun to explore. With Celestial Age: Origin, the transformations are seemingly the greatest highlight and they offer an overwhelming number of different creatures you can transform to. Appearance-wise, this game is an absolute visual delight. The game treats you with remarkable visuals and impressive character designs.
