From the creators of Calibria: Crystal Guardians comes a new and adorable simulation game that will take you to a wonderful paradise. Tour of Neverland is a farming simulation game created and published by Mars Game Studio. The game follows the story of a student who was just admitted to Royal College. Before heading to college, however, you decided to spend your vacation on an island owned by your wealthy grandpa. This will allow you to experience the exciting life of the island. Your goal is to help your character manage the island and explore its full potential. The Gameplay

The mechanics for Tour of Neverland are generally simple and easily manageable. If you have experienced playing farming simulation games like Animal Crossing, Farmville, or Township, this game works the same way. However, Tour of Neverland is more than just a typical farming game. It comes with a huge scope of activities that includes fishing, baking, interior decorating, snorkeling, and many more. Interestingly, the game starts with character creation. You can pick between the two genders and customize their faces and clothes. Once done, the game will prompt you to the Island where you will be greeted by lovely anthropomorphic animals that are obviously lead by Otis, an old owl.

Although you can do almost anything on the island, the game will still rely on quests to progress. Unlike typical farming simulation in mobile, what really makes Tour of Neverland a stand out is the immersive 3D map that you can freely explore. You can navigate around the map using the virtual joypad. You can interact with NPC by tapping them or by simply tapping the specific quest on the quest log. Other actions like harvesting, tilting soil, and planting can be done by tapping their respective tap-based buttons (you need to approach their location to perform such actions).

Exciting Quests and Activities

Surprisingly, Tour of Neverland comes with an overwhelming number of quests to explore. The Main Quest often arrives one after another but the side quests will often populate your quest log. It means that there are too many things to focus on in this game. Some quests will simply ask you to approach NPC while others will ask you to perform numerous tasks. These exciting quests might ask you to plant and harvest certain types of crops, deliver items via FreshBot, sell products, go fishing, cook pastries, and many more.

Farming is one of the major activities on the island and is also your main source of ingredients for cooking. It involves 4 different actions that must be taken sequentially. These farming actions include tilting, planting, watering, and harvesting. The more you plant the same type of crops, the more you increase your level of expertise (the higher the level of expertise, the higher the price you can sell your crops).

Fishing is another notable activity on the island and unlike farming, this activity is performed differently. To start fishing, simply head over to the fishing area (most of the time, you need to approach NPC Ivy for any fishing-related tasks). Simply tap the fishing rod icon on the bottom right corner of the screen and wait until it notifies you that you already hooked a fish. Tap the same button to start reeling and it will showcase a fishing meter. You have at least 3 or more attempts to catch the fish. You need to tap the reel button once it hits the right marker on the fishing meter. If the time runs out and you failed to reach a hundred percent, you have no other option but to retry. It takes a little practice to master this activity but definitely a fun task to do once you get used to it. You will eventually engage yourself with other equally entertaining activities such as raising poultry and livestock, snorkeling, baking, and many more.

Interior Decorating, Energy System, and Multiplayer

Another interesting activity in Tour of Neverland is the house decorating. As you progress in the game, you will be asked to rebuild a cabin which will serve as your temporary home on the island. Here, you can customize your house by adding furniture. These items can be bought from Otis’ Shop using either the gold coins (virtual currency) or the certificates which you can earn from various quests and reward system. Interestingly, some items are more than just decorations. The bed, for instance, allows you to sleep and regenerate a certain amount of energy.

Speaking of energy, almost all your actions in this game will consume a certain amount of energy. If you are running out of energy, you can simply restore them in many different ways. The most common way to restore your energy is by consuming food (most of which can be harvested from trees or can be bought from Pickle’s Shop). You can also restore energy by sleeping or by purchasing an energy drink (requires pearls). As you progress, you will eventually get access to other buildings such as Forge, Laboratory, Workshop, Garden, Pier, and many more.

The multiplayer elements of the game can be accessed through its Friend system. You can add friends suggested by the system. Simply tap the Friends icon and head over to Search Tab. This will showcase various players suggested by the game. Add them by tapping the plus icons. You must also check your Request tab regularly to see if there are pending Friend requests from other players. Just like the old-style Farmville, you can visit other islands and interact with their own creations. The game also has an interactive chat system that allows you to broadcast messages to your friends, the entire server, the system, or with your team.

Tour of Neverland is a well-polished simulation game that comes with an overwhelming number of features to explore. It is more than just a typical farming game. If you are looking for a free alternative to Animal Crossing, Tour of Neverland is a perfect candidate. In fact, the scope of the game is even wider and better. Appearance-wise, Tour of Neverland is an absolute visual delight. It will not just take you to an immersive 3D world but it also treats you with visually stunning details.
