You will engage yourself on a series of action-packed missions as you fulfill your destiny. This game comes with less-complex rules and features an Auto quest system which is very common in most MMORPGs today. However, Goddess: Primal Chaos comes with a unique action-oriented combat system and an interesting MOBA-style PvP battle that sets this game apart from typical mobile RPG.

The Gameplay

The mechanics for this MMORPG are very simple and easily manageable. It may not be a perfect RPG as the game lacks different elements but it managed to capture some exciting features that make Goddess: Primal Chaos worth playing. Like any other role-playing game, each player begins by selecting their preferred character. The game features three characters to choose from; Warrior, Summoner, and Bloodline. Each character will vary in terms of their attributes, skills, and weaponry. Warrior, for instance, has great Offense and Defense skills while Summoner long-ranged fighters. Bloodline, on the other hand, are expert melee fighters with a High CRT rate.

After selecting your preferred class (you have the option to select a female or male character for each class), you will be asked to customize your character. You can select your desired hairstyle, hair color, and clothing to give your avatar its own identity. Once done, the game will prompt you to the virtual world where your journey will start to take place. The game doesn’t have any cinematic introduction and the storyline is somehow shallow. All we know is that you are a chosen hero to save the world from chaos by defeating the evil forces lead by Tyrant. Despite missing depth in the story, Goddess: Primal Chaos will showcase a unique combat system and action-oriented battles that will surely put your skills on a test.

Action-Oriented Battle System

The game will take you to a visually stunning world. Appearance-wise, Goddess: Primal Chaos will surely meet all your expectations. If there is a downside, it is possibly the fixed camera view. Unlike modern MMORPG for mobile, this game won’t allow you to manipulate the camera view. It is fixed on a third-person perspective and you would not get a closer shot of your character. Interestingly, you can actually take advantage of this perspective especially during the battles. Goddess: Primal Chaos comes with an action-oriented combat system. Players can either turn the Auto-Battle on or they can do it manually.

Unlike most MMORPGs, this game doesn’t feature a world that you can freely explore. If you want to go on a battle, you must proceed and interact with various NPCs and they can transfer you right away the battlefield. Most actions will take place on dungeons and the only way to clear the stage is to defeat all the monsters including the field bosses. This is where the action-oriented battle system will become handy. Each boss comes with their own skills and you must come up with an effective strategy to win the fight and survive, otherwise, you’ll be defeated and you have no other option but to start the stage back from the beginning.

Companions, Pvp Modes and Mounts

One of the most unique features of Goddess: Primal Chaos is the ability to have companions who will help you during your battle. Heroes can be earned through the game’s Egg Smash feature. This will feature magical eggs that you can smash either Silver or Gold Hammer (premium). You earn free smash at a certain time duration. Smashing eggs will unlock random heroes. They will vary in terms of their skills and rarity. You are lucky enough if you have earned S-grade heroes as they have greater attributes and skills by default. Players can set-up the position of all the heroes before heading to any battle.

Another great element of this game is the overwhelming number of PvP modes. The game comes with many Challenges including Dragon Coin Push, 2v2 MOBA-style battle, Arena, and Treasure Plunder. The 2v2 MOBA-style combat is an interesting addition that somehow reminds you of the classic League of Legends or Mobile Legends gameplay. Cooperative battles include Dungeon raids, Boss Battles, Wilds, and various limited-edition events. Another unique feature of this game is the Wedding system that allows you to team up with another player and be married virtually. You can also mount on various creatures in this game.

The Verdict

Goddess: Primal Chaos may not be a perfect MMORPG but it is still worth a download. Aside from the shallow storyline, both dialogues and voice-overs are quite a downside as well. Each NPC comes with a default dialogue that doesn’t match with the texts written on their dialogue boxes. Despite the flaws, Goddess: Primal Chaos is an absolute visual delight that provides you with impressive and visually striking graphics. The character design for this game is superb. Overall, if you are looking for a decent MMORPG with an action-oriented battle system, Goddess: Primal Chaos is definitely a great fit.
