The Gameplay

Much like a standard MMORPG, the player begins by selecting their preferred character. Blade & Wings currently offers three unique classes including Berserker, Gunner, and Assassin. Each class comes with unique skillset, weaponry and will vary in terms of their basic attributes. Berserker is characterized as a super powerful warrior that masters melee battles and survival skills. They are capable of wielding soldier blades. Gunners, on the other hand, are armed with mechanical equipment and known for their powerful mid to ranged attacks. Assassins are known for their incredible speed and survival skills.

The characters will vary in terms of their attributes such as ATK, Survival, Range, and Speed. After selecting the character, it will prompt you to an island where your journey will start to take place. You can freely navigate the field using the virtual joypad and interact with your surroundings using the tap-based buttons. Interestingly, Blade & Wings comes with both Automated and non-automated features. There is an Auto Quest mode that allows your character to move from one quest location to another with less player interaction. You have the option to run this feature or manually move the character.

Action-Oriented Combat System

Players are no longer interacting with the game and all they do is to watch their character move and fight against enemies. Blade & Wings, however, features an exciting combat system. The game might offer an Auto Quest system but the combat is purely action-oriented. Blade & Wings do not support any Auto Combat system.
